Research Opportunities
JISAO Summer Research Program
JISAO sponsors one undergraduate research position each summer. The student is matched with a research project within one of JISAO's four research themes and works with a JISAO, NOAA or UW scientist at either the University of Washington campus or the NOAA Northwest Regional Center in Seattle. The student is paid an hourly salary with travel expenses and housing provided as necessary. Applications are being accepted through February 28 with awards announced by April 30. Applicants must be US citizens or residents.

NCAS JISAO Internships
Summer research opportunities are available for four undergraduate student interns through the NOAA Center for Atmospheric Sciences and JISAO. Interns are matched with a research project within one of JISAO's four research themes and work with a JISAO, NOAA or UW scientist at either the University of Washington campus or the NOAA Northwest Regional Center in Seattle. The internships are 8 weeks and a stipend, travel expenses, and housing are provided. Applications are being accepted through February 28 with awards announced by April 30. Applicants must be US citizens or residents.
