Research Interests

The large-scale ocean circulation, its low-frequency variability and role in climate. Stability problems involving geophysical flows. Tropical ocean circulation and low-latitude western boundary currents.

Current Research Projects

Circulation in the Solomon Sea in the Southwest Pacific ocean - mesoscale variability and its influence on the mean circulation.
